Remember

Today in the UK it is Remembrance Sunday. Special services are held at war memorials and churches all over Britain.

A wet afternoon

Today was one of those days when you think you are getting no good shots. You just get set up for some shots and the rain starts again. Its then a pleasant surprise when you get home and find you have some nice ones.

Photography thought.

You often have to study the content of an image to see why it is good.
Even if you have no real interest in the subject matter studying the picture can reveal its appeal, some meaning or it may even stir an emotion or tell you a story.
Quality, format or technical details mean nothing if the image has no content to study.
I really enjoyed this article.

Halloween

I have to interrupt my flow of Stow Gypsy Fair shots to post some Halloween shots. So many photos to do and post.

Taken at Avebury this evening (Saturday) at about 8-30pm.
Time exposure of 20 seconds and a walk around firing the flashgun. My thanks to the lady who stood still for 20 seconds.

A night out with the Girls. Do you have to come home looking like that!

Trick or Treat

Stones at Midnight
These two Stones are known as the Moon stones.

Stow Gypsy horse fair4

I didn't ask her to pose she just struck the pose as soon as she saw my camera.
Everybody at this fair seemed to me to be so open and friendly.

My friend Cristian Sorega (Ricoh GR-Diary) has finished the Ricoh GR Digital III book project. Well worth a look
